Gbajabiamila, lawmakers, celebrities grace premiere of
Okediran’s ‘Tenants of The House’ movie

Right from the time the premiere
date of the highly-anticipated movie, ‘Tenants of The House’, produced by a
former member of the House of Representatives and author, Dr Wale Okediran, was
made public, movie enthusiasts have shifted their attention to knowing what he
has in the offing.
Apart from emerging as one movie
that many people looked forward to seeing at the cinemas, the brains behind the
project and its producer, Okediran, was another factor that drew a large
audience to the venue of its premiere at the Sheraton Hotel, Abuja, on
Thursday.
Okediran had described the flick as
a fictional adaptation of his stay in the lower chamber of the National
Assembly, as he called himself as ‘Special Guest of Honour’.
The movie, which was directed by
award-winning movie maker and director, Kunle Afolayan, had array of stars
including notable Nollywood and Kannywood actors and actresses.
At the premiere on Thursday, were
cast and crew of the movie as they shared their experiences on the set of the
movie that focused on the need for a peaceful resolution of the herders/farmers
crisis in the country.
Those who saw the movie commended
Okediran and described it as a demonstration of universal truth about politics
and politicians.
